The \u2018original\u2019 Technis took the matter to court. \u201cIt is heartbreaking to see that certain groups consider themselves to be above the law\u201d, the company lamented.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-59536\"><\/span>The \u2018new\u2019 Technis was founded, together with Hexafret, to replace Fret SNCF in the context of a massive restructuring, implemented to avoid harsh sanctions from the European Commission. The former should take care of maintenance tasks, while the latter will pick up Fret SNCF\u2019s rail freight operations. However, the issue concerning the name Technis remain a pickle which will only be solved in French courts.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"readmore\">\n<div class=\"readmore-item\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/business\/2024\/12\/10\/there-may-be-a-problem-with-fret-sncf-successors-name\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Rail-Logistics-Europe-Loc-128x128.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"readmore-thumbnail\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"readmore-info\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/business\/2024\/12\/10\/there-may-be-a-problem-with-fret-sncf-successors-name\/\" class=\"readmore-title\">There may be a problem with Fret SNCF successor\u2019s name<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<h2>The impact on the \u2018real\u2019 Technis<\/h2>\n<p>The legal action was launched by the \u201creal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technis.com\/en\"  rel=\"noopener\">Technis<\/a>\u201d, as the company founded in 2016 refers to itself. \u201cThis, in addition to associating the real Technis with social movements from which it is far removed, has the effect of completely drowning out the SEO, communication and all of Technis&#8217; actions towards its audiences\u201d, it pointed out. Image: Facebook. \u00a9<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u2018real\u2019 Technis, a platform for collecting, aggregating and analyzing data relating to the monitoring and optimization of physical spaces was founded in 2016 by Wiktor Bour\u00e9e, who registered the company name in both France and Switzerland. Ironically enough, the company already cooperated with the SNCF Group as a supplier.<\/p>\n<h2>SNCF ignored the warnings<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cTechnis has approached SNCF since the name was revealed, and has even had to issue a formal cease and desist notice\u201d.
