The Degraves Subway at Flinders Street station is back with six new lifts to improve accessibility for people switching<\/a> platforms.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Since it was closed nearly three years ago, the subway (in the middle of the platforms at Flinders Street Station) has undergone refurbishment works. The installation of six new lifts, one at each platform, will give passengers more accessible options to move between platforms.<\/p>\n

When the new Town Hall Station opens later this year<\/a>, the Degraves Subway will be the connecting point between the two stations, allowing users to change between them without needing to touch off the Myki.<\/p>\n

To prepare for this, crews have completed extensive restoration works in Degraves Street Subway and Campbell Arcade, including:<\/p>\n
