Australian Football League (AFL) great and host of ‘You Cannot Be Serious’ Sam Newman has found himself at the centre of a heated debate after heading towards the exit during an Acknowledgement of Country at an Australia Day event in Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Newman joined Sky News hosts Danica De Giorgio and James Macpherson to discuss why he started to leave as the Victorian Governor began an Acknowledgment of Country during an event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Mr Newman, his decision to head for the exit was not a sign of disrespect, but rather a demonstration of his conviction that the Acknowledgement of Country is “nonsense.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
