However, in 2025, firefighting DC-10s made a prominent comeback as         <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink-article\" data-id=\"2039230\"><a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/la-wildfires-worse-aircraft\/\" >they flew hair-raising missions to douse the Californian Palisades fires<\/a><\/span>.
