The German Hellman Worldwide Logistics and the Azerbaijani ADY Express have launched a joint Middle Corridor shipment. Part of the freight was destined for Georgia and Eastern Europe, while the remaining parts continued onwards to T\u00fcrkiye and Germany.<\/strong>
\n<\/span>The 55-container block train left from the Chinese city of Chongqing, transited through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea and Azerbaijan. Part of the load was destined for Georgia and Eastern Europe, and was delivered to the port of Poti for further transport to Constan\u021ba (Romania) via the Black Sea.<\/p>\n

The remainder of the goods continued down the Baku – Tbilish – Kars railway towards T\u00fcrkiye and Germany.<\/p>\n

Diversification<\/h2>\n

\u201cThe decision to utilise the Middle Corridor for this shipment underscores Azerbaijan\u2019s importance as a strategic transit hub. Previously, Hellmann relied on routes through Russia, but this project marks a significant move toward diversifying the company\u2019s logistics solutions\u201d, ADY express comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis milestone highlights the growing attractiveness of the Middle Corridor as an alternative and efficient route for transporting goods between China and Europe\u201d, the Azerbaijani operator adds.<\/p>\n
