Over their four-year term, these governors are projected to\u00a0donate nearly 26,000 hours of voluntary time, benefiting 72,000 under-represented young people,\u00a0significantly exceeding the commitment to reach 18,000 learners.<\/p>\n<p>AtkinsR\u00e9alis governors work with school leadership to offer strategic guidance\u00a0and bring an outside perspective to curriculum delivery. This includes collaborating with AtkinsR\u00e9alis STEM ambassadors to drive\u00a0improvement in\u00a0how concepts such as digital and net zero fit into education.\u00a0The programme prioritises placing governors in\u00a0girls\u2019\u00a0schools, schools in areas of deprivation and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) settings \u2013 working with\u00a0pupils from the age of 3 to adults aged 25 in college education.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 83 AtkinsR\u00e9alis governors, 40 are female and 54 are supporting schools in a high depravation area.\u00a0AtkinsR\u00e9alis is targeting 150 governors by Summer 2025, with a focus on recruiting early careers governors.<\/p>\n<p>Richard\u00a0Robinson, AtkinsR\u00e9alis President \u2013 UK &amp;
