The city of Parma, notorious for its ham and cheese, will have two new rail freight services, one national and one international one. The national one will link the city to Bari, in the south of Italy, while the second one will connect it to the Polish capital Warsaw.<\/strong>
\n<\/span>The Bari-Parma service will be the latest addition to the schedule of Italian rail freight operator GTS. It will have three departures per week. Convoys will leave Bari on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and will head back from Parma on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.<\/p>\n

The international service to Warsaw will be operated by Adriafer, with Futura Cargo being the main customer. This new link will serve the Cepim Terminal in Parma with the Hupac terminal in Brwinow, in the outskirts of Warsaw. The first trains will start running at the beginning of February. This will be the first service available on EMMA, the European Multi-Modal App.<\/p>\n
