Welcome to a bonus episode of Rusty’s Quality Used Trains, where we sell quality models that have only ever had one little old lady owner who only ever ran them after Church on Sundays… Well not quite. But instead, here’s a selection of the final secondhand HO scale models I weathered over the Christmas Holiday break that are ready to find a new home.<\/p>\n

It’s been a fun ride over the course of the past few years to offer these for sale through my eBay shop, but with the time that it takes to paint and weather these coming to an end, and thousands of dollars tied up in a wardrobe full of model trains, the time has come to clear them all out. So, grab them while you can or miss out!<\/p>\n

Some rare old white metal kits were given a new lease on life, such as this NSWGR sheep van.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

And this is the cattle livestock van, once again another weighty white metal model.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Here’s a grubby, grimy Santa Fe box car that I added a lumber load to.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

And I’ve never come across a green Santa Fe box car before, but it got weathered up just the same.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

And the other side of the Bangor & Aroostock State of Mind, um, Maine box car. Doors closed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
