We’ve had a bumper delivery of new Hornby items this week, including two of the long-awaiting newly tooled Ruston 88DS diesel shunters as well as a new “EWS Business Train” pack complete with a Class 67 and Mk2 Coaches.<\/div>\n

For steam fans, we’ve also received the latest version of Hornby’s ever-popular LMS Princess Coronation in the classic lined blue colour scheme.<\/div>\n

RUSTON 88DS SHUNTER<\/h1>\n

Hornby’s newly tooled Ruston 88DS diesel shunters have now arrived! Two variations are in stock covering Rowntree & Co green and BR green liveries.<\/p>\n

A third variation in North British Distillery Co yellow is also expected to arrive in the near future.<\/p>\n

Despite their diminutive stature, these classic shunters could manage heavy loads and were used at all manner of industrial sites across the UK. Everywhere from distillers to confectioners.<\/p>\n
