One of Australia\u2019s most respected sporting clubs will no longer hold regular Welcome to Country ceremonies, with the Melbourne Storm ditching the \u201cdivisive\u201d tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is really good news and a much needed step in the right direction for removal of divisive and harmful rhetoric undertaken for profit and political purposes. Those companies and sporting organisations who continue to support the spread of misinformation through these commercially based ceremonies should take a long hard look at themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
