The carrier soon added an extra service where budding astronomers can catch a glimpse of the eclipse at 30,000ft. Initially, Delta planned to operate just one eclipse-viewing flight to depart from Austin to <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/detroit-metropolitan-airport\/\">Detroit<\/a> on April 8th <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/delta-air-lines-airbus-a220-use\/\">onboard an Airbus A220-300<\/a>.
