The newly acquired company specialises in Less-Than-Container-Load (LCL) and is present in about 20 terminals throughout Europe.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-57803\"><\/span>This acquisition is part of Nurminen\u2019s process of expansion. Other than acquiring Swedish Essinge Rail, the company purchased Operail Finland in January 2023, a deal which sparked some controversies. Moreover, the company is present in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria and Italy. Other than rail freight operations, Essinge Rail also offers road hauling and ferry services.
