{"id":147717,"date":"2024-11-07T06:56:23","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T20:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/?p=117864"},"modified":"2024-11-07T06:56:23","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T20:56:23","slug":"pedestrian-crossing-upgraded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=147717","title":{"rendered":"Pedestrian crossing upgraded"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/News-item_Jane-St-Croydon-Railway-Station_720x480px.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;\"><figcaption>Image\/Adelaide Metro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>The current Jane Street, West Croydon pedestrian crossing will be closed from November to December 2024 due to upgrades to improve pedestrian access and safety.<\/strong><span id=\"more-117864\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>To accommodate the Jane Street, West Croydon pedestrian crossing upgrade, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/temporary-partial-closures-on-the-outer-harbor-line\/\">Outer Harbor<\/a> rail line will be closed on two occasions between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelaidemetro.com.au\/about-us\/news\/news-items\/2024\/outer-harbor-line-november-night-closures\">November and December 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There will be an Active Pedestrian Crossing installed which will automatically close the pedestrian gates when a train is approaching the crossing.
