Supposedly, the increases will affect approximately a fifth of its services. Freight to and from the Russian exclave Kaliningrad is also subject to higher fees.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-57636\"><\/span>&#8220;LTG Cargo base tariffs are updated taking into account the growth of operating costs of the public infrastructure manager LTG Infra\u201d, the freight operator explains. \u201cTariffs for some services remain unchanged, for example, one of the most frequently provided services: cargo transportation in the direction of import and export through the port of Klaip\u0117da.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, containers will not be safe from price increases: \u201cFrom the beginning of next year, the base rates for the import and export of goods from the port of Klaip\u0117da in containers will increase (20 per cent) and for the transportation of empty wagons on this route (15 per cent). Rates for local transportation, import and export from domestic stations will increase by 6 to 10 per cent\u201d, LTG Cargo says.<\/p>\n<p>Other service fees, such as freight wagon leases and freight storage, will grow by an average of 10 per cent.
