Turkey wasn&#8217;t just purchasing the jets, it was involved in the development of the F-35 and was producing parts for the F-35. By 2019, the first             <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\" data-id=\"58724\"style=\";  ;\" class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\"><a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/fighter-jets\/\"  >fighter jets<\/a><\/span> for the Turkish Air Force had been built and were ready to be delivered.
