The $9.9 million upgrade will be completed ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n<p>The upgrade began in late June with the replacement platforms constructed of steel frames and concrete decks.<\/p>\n<p>Station improvements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New platforms with accessible ramps and wider platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Updated railway tracks to match the higher platforms.<\/li>\n<li>An upgrade of the north and south pedestrian crossings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The station was first opened in 1916, with the old platforms built in 1960.
