This gives rail operators early warning detection to aid in reducing level crossing safety incidents.<\/p>\n<p>Rail operations are now able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have the ability to detect if a vehicle doesn&#8217;t stop at a level crossing and capture vehicle details, including license plate.<\/li>\n<li>capture footage of an approaching locomotive to verify if the locomotive forward facing lights are displaying correctly.<\/li>\n<li>determine if there are any obstacles on route that could impact locomotive and provide early warning notification to driver and motorists<\/li>\n<li>utilises advanced AI architecture to monitor and predict near miss events before they happen, significantly improving safety on and off the railway lines.<\/li>\n<li>detect and alert personnel of near misses<\/li>\n<li>detect vehicles that may be in an emergency (i.e. if malfunctioning has occurred)<\/li>\n<li>automate boom gates at level crossings<\/li>\n<li>detect height: Precision grade real-time over-height detection bridges\/tunnels<\/li>\n<li>have access to video footage of near misses (before and after)<\/li>\n<li>receive near miss predictions: The algorithms will learn how vehicles move prior to an incident and near misses.
