Tom Elliott attended his first AFLW game for a while on Saturday night, watching Carlton play Brisbane at IKON Park with his daughter, but was left \u201cshocked\u201d at the lack of spectators at the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good grounds to watch the games are Western Oval (Footscray), Carlton, Windy Hill in Melbourne and maybe a few in regional towns. Carlton and Footscray have lights for night play. Arden Street playing surface looked quite good and is a good ground to get to.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Of the seven games played in Victoria during week six, all of them attracted a crowd of less than 2,500 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The season should begin after the AFL Mens that is right but too many changes to the calendar. What about sending some of these games to the regional centres around Victoria? Albury\/Wodonga, Bendigo\/Ballarat?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSomething has gone wrong at the AFLW,\u201d the 3AW Mornings host said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
