The Reading & Northern announced that it would be offering day-long excursions to Jim Thorpe, Pa., from both Reading and Pittston, on most weekends from April until November. It also announced that its popular Iron Horse Rambles behind Reading Company 4-8-4 2102<\/a> would take place on May 25, June 22 and August 17.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The trips out of Reading Outer Station will feature the railroad\u2019s vintage RDCs, while the trips out of the Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton Regional Railroad Station in Pittston will be diesel-hauled. Passengers will also be able to board the trains en route, including at Port Clinton, Tamaqua, Penobscot and White Haven.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
