It’s been revealed that the 2026 Commonwealth Games, which Daniel Andrews & Jacinta Allan paid $600 million to cancel and will now be held in Glasgow, will actually be funded by the Victorian taxpayer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not only is it abuse of taxpayer money but an insult to regional Victoria on how they hoodwinked their vote and an insult to Australian athletes who would of been excited to compete on home soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daniel Andrews’ pledge to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games in regional Victoria was exposed as a fake election promise in order to firm up his declining vote outside of Melbourne. Regional Victorians took the bait and the rest is history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At what point do taxpayers get a refund from this incompetent government? Labor should be paying out of their own pockets instead of giving themselves pay rises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
