While         <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink-article\" data-id=\"19393\"><a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/jetstar-airways-history\/\" >this worked for Qantas with its budget brand, Jetstar<\/a><\/span>, it failed with Singapore Airlines&#8217;s budget brand, Valuair. Valuair only lasted around a year before Qantas&#8217;             <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\" data-id=\"257128\"style=\";  ;\" class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\"><a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/jetstar-asia\/\"  >Jetstar Asia<\/a><\/span> absorbed it and a decade before the brand was discontinued entirely.
