A light rail tram and a truck have collided in the Sydney<\/a> CBD, triggering major traffic delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pitt Street in Haymarket has been closed in b\ufeffoth directions at High Street, with very heavy northbound traffic backing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Images showed the tram had been at least partly derailed. Around 60 passengers onboard have been safely evacuated and no major injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n\n\n

Light rail services are closed between Convention and Central, but continue to run from Dulwich Hill to Convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
