Another C-series train has rolled into passenger service on the Mandurah and Yanchep lines as part of the METRONET WA Railcar Program.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expected to move more than 103,000 people daily along the lines as safely, efficiently, and as smoothly as possible, the latest C-series train is the fourth of 41 that will join Perth\u2019s rail network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s even better? These trains are made right here in Western Australia, with over 50 per cent of the materials locally sourced. More than 15 local businesses are working with Alstom to supply key parts like passenger seats, air conditioning units, cable trays and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
