{"id":11366,"date":"2024-02-14T21:37:42","date_gmt":"2024-02-14T11:37:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=11366"},"modified":"2024-02-14T21:37:42","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T11:37:42","slug":"tpe-launches-new-lovely-day-campaign-featuring-bill-withers-classic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=11366","title":{"rendered":"TPE launches new \u2018lovely day\u2019 campaign featuring Bill Withers classic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tpexpress.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TransPennine Express<\/a> (TPE) has launched a new campaign encouraging customers to make the most of \u2018lovely days\u2019 together. <\/p>\n<p>Featuring the 1970s Bill Withers classic, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cms.tpexpress.co.uk\/explore-the-north-and-scotland\/where-next\">30-second film<\/a> (which was developed in collaboration with The&amp;Partnership Manchester) aims to encourage people to get together across the north of England and Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>Darren Higgins, Commercial Director at TransPennine Express, said: \u201cWe\u2019re proud to unveil our new campaign centred around how we help bring people together \u2013 providing lovely days out to beautiful beaches, big cities, and country escapes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bill Withers\u2019 timeless Lovely Day provides a soundtrack to the campaign, which follows the adventures of TPE\u2019s characters as they travel by train for an exciting day out across the TPE network.<\/p>\n<p>Darren added: \u201cThe campaign also sees the return of our loveable bucket and spade characters, along with a torch and battery enjoying a movie at the cinema, a paint pot and brush visiting an art gallery, and a set of bagpipes huffing and puffing on a countryside walk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to demonstrate that every meeting can have a little extra meaning when you take a train with TransPennine Express.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The campaign is running across TV, video on demand, newspapers, radio, social and digital channels as well as digital displays on the TPE network.<\/p>\n<p>Adam McGowan and Danny O\u2019Keeffe, Associate Creative Directors, at The&amp;Partnership Manchester said: \u201cWe wanted to show how we can all make the most of getting together across the region. It\u2019s a campaign that\u2019s packed full of little laughs and smiles along the way.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe brought a new dimension to these characters, making them miniature and using stop-motion \u2013 which is a real labour of love. The attention to detail and level of craft involved is unbelievable.
