The United States currently produces four types of fighter jets: the <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/f-16\/\">F-16 Fighting Falcon<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/f-15\/\">F-15EX Strike Eagle II<\/a>, the F\/A-18 Super Hornet (and Growler), and the <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/f-35\/\">F-35 Lightning II<\/a>. Many of these aircraft are produced for export (the F-16 is only produced for export).
