According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.301fw.afrc.af.mil\/News\/Article-Display\/Article\/3874716\/301st-fighter-wing-receives-first-f-35\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" >301st Fighter Wing statement<\/a>, the unit will be the Air Force Reserve&#8217;s first standalone F-35 unit and receive 26 of the jets in total. However, it has taken possession of two <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/f-35\/\">F-35s<\/a> built for another air wing.
