All is not well at Cranbourne<\/a> when it comes to Metro Trains Melbourne<\/a> services and the state of the railway station and the railway line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vibewire<\/a> has found rather direct feedback on the state of the nation down in an ever expanding residential area with very little passenger rail access with no plans from Jacinta Allan<\/a> or Danny Pearson<\/a> to do anything about it whatsoever. Not just that there don’t appear to be plans to address the many issues being experienced by voting passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General state of the Railway Station area and the trains using the Cranbourne Line<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lets examine some of the public feedback from passengers of the station and the trains which service the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cranbourne line showing good service not!! Planned works always on the this line, EVERY weekend. Then you get on the train 7.40am and there is vomit all through a carriage. Disgusting, Why on earth are we paying for there service ? You can see by google reviews they don’t give a hoot, service is never running, Again no trains every weekend this line is never running. Now we have to catch a bus to Dandenong and then a train get it together Again 10th\/11th Aug 2024 again trains only running from Cranbourne to Caulfield then trains stop at Caulfield because of a trespasser, I am so sick of this whomever votes for this government again brace yourself. We still pay for the ride and you cannot get to your destination.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The above should never happen it is unacceptable to be expected to board a carriage with vomit throughout. Don’t they clean these trains down at Cranbourne?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe the cleaners are on strike<\/a> as they have occasionally been in Sydney.<\/p>\n\n\n

Sharing my experience this station is getting from bad to worse. From not enough parking for a car to a closed path way, it’s almost been 3 weeks and they not done with a small pathway. You would need around 15 -20 min walk from the station that’s if you lucky enough to even find one car parking that far. Metro really needs to work on this asap if they expect people to catch public transport.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

One of the major issues with Cranbourne is overcrowding of the station, trains services and the station car parks as many drive from the outer areas to the station (there is an unused railway line going right past houses for 10 kilometres but inactive and has been for years despite election promises by the Victorian Labour Party to return trains to the line). The ALP can find $30b for a North East Link tollway without a business case but not for a rail line extension years overdue and to ensure a clean service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worst train station ever!! Toilets never had locks, a lot of the times no tissue papers and now no doors.. the door has come off, no where to be seen and completely open and unusable.. well done<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Seems passengers cannot rely on the basics like toilet paper and other basic restroom standards like lockable cubicles when you need to take a number 2. Unacceptable in every respect.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dirty and strewn with rubbish<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been several reports on how dirty the area around the railway station is with a glaring lack of bins in the area. So just like Southern Cross Railway Station also without bins, rubbish is discarded on the ground, what else is there for them to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seems like there is no bins near by the bus stop so people just throw stuff on the ground. Please install bins this place is a mess.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Let us not forget some reviews about the Metro Trains staff at the station and their attitude to Customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worst staff, i lost $50 at the myki<\/a> machine. After 2months still the authorities haven’t reimbursed the money, machine is never working. Staff is not helpful at all. They take their own cool time when we go to the counters, they have a major attitude problem. Highly disappointed<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Be great if you guys could actually have some staff working at the station. Pretty hard when you need help with your myki and the person being paid to do exactly that is too busy for playing games on their phone.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The men on the counter never ever help to top up myki\u2026\u2026. So rude and ask to use the self recharge\u2026.. its couple of times happened and really don\u2019t know if they don\u2019t wanna do the top up why they keep open the window! Disgusting<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Not what one might call a glowing review of the customer service ethic at Cranbourne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will there be any relief in sight for these poor suffering passengers of the Poo Choo Choo? There are not plans to reopen the line 10 kms to the south east to unlock 100,000 homes providing them access to the decent rail service<\/a> so expect i should think much of the same unless the CFMEU can make money from it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
