Major projects involve strengthening bridges, widening roads, improving freight terminal connections, and developing new rail freight terminals. However the track record for rail freight development in Victoria has been very patchy at best. Promises to reopen rail lines and provide upgrades have not materialised as the case for South Gippsland shows.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
